Of what were they speaking, all their limbs upraised, and their heads high lifted, now frozen in praise? And who the listener, and who still sees? Had they an answer before turning Into a circle of trees?
This blog is a journal of my poetry, my photos, and some quotations that have resonated with me.
I live in rural Manitoba, have passed fifty, and
find myself becoming more contented as I become more contemplative. My husband is my best friend, I am a mother of four, mother-in-law of one, and grandmother of one.
(Update: In mid-August of 2011 our 28-year-old son died accidentally by drowning while camping at a lake house with good friends. My poetry has become therapeutic, and expresses some of the pain and questioning that I am now experiencing.)
